A friend of mine just recently got me into selling text links he had been doing pretty good selling spots on a few of his sites. I had dabbled with it a little bit using Adbrite with no real success at all and had kinda given up on it. Until recently he mentioned that he was in need of some quick money so he was selling some spots that had recently freed up. Keeping that in mind I decided to see what I could do. One of my site has a Google Page Rank of 4 of gets about 7-8 thousand unique visitors a day. I had already decided that Adbrite is a waste of time at least for selling text link spots I am going to try out their PPC program but that will be another story. My next option and this is what my friend does is try selling them on the Digital Point Forums. Posting my proposition on Digital Point worked out REALLY well… I had 4-5 spots available and sold them all in under 2 days.
I had sold a couple montly spots and rest were yearly and I had even managed to upsale it by adding bold listings. Lesson learned this is a great way to make some quick good money.

Web Proxy usage seems to be back to normal. I was getting very discouraged this summer my proxy traffic plummeted to the point where it was costing me money to keep them going. I had actually gone as far as selling off one of my original proxy sites that had a Google Page Rank of 5. That was a total mistake i’m afraid I should have held on to it. For now i’ve got a couple proxies that are getting very good traffic mostly from Google. I am targetting some pretty highly competive keywords , but yet they are still doing well. I think “proxy keywords” searches in google are the only time people actually dig 3-5 pages into searches looking for something that works… I will keep you updated on how these are doing.

Financial freedom describes a well-planned lifestyle where one no longer is required to work for income to cover their expenses. Contrary to popular belief, it does not require being free of debt, as a debt payment is just another expense. Typically, “Financial Freedom” can be attained in one of two ways
(or a combination of the two):
1. Enough passive investment income to cover one’s expenses.
2, A large enough “nest egg” that can be liquidated over time to cover one’s expenses.
Quoted from Wikipedia.org
I started this blog as a planner and log of my journey into becoming self employed and Financially Free. I will share my stories my ideas , future plans in hopes to keep myself on track of my goal , but also to help anyone that may have similar goals and ambitions as myself. Wish me luck!
